Biography

Dr. Jyoti M. Logani is Scientist’F’ with the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is currently a part of the Global Innovations Division of DBT, and is handling engagements with North & South America & other international collaborations. She has been associated with the Department since 2010 and has coordinated implementation of vaccine R&D programs and the Indo-US Vaccine Action Program (VAP), a bilateral program of DBT & NIAID, NIH. She has also played a pivotal role in the implementation of the mission programs, such as the National Biopharma Mission, Ind-CEPI Mission, and Mission COVID Suraksha, to strengthen the product development ecosystem in the country. Dr. Logani has initiated various collaborative programs under VAP, including the RePORT India-TB program and the adjuvant and bioethics collaboration. She is the Nodal Officer of the Cabinet-approved National Biopharma Mission, with a major focus on vaccines, therapeutics, devices, and diagnostics.
