Scientific Sessions

Vaccine Development and Immunization Strategies

In the Vaccine Development & Immunization Strategies session at the International Digital World Congress (IDWC) 2026, the focus will be on the major strides made in vaccine science and their public health implementation. Several experts in vaccine development will discuss their experience with modern vaccine platforms, including mRNA, DNA, and viral vector technologies, as well as how these technologies were rapidly deployed to develop vaccines during global health emergencies. Participants will gain an understanding of the challenges related to vaccine distribution and access. The IDWC 2026 will include a commitment to achieving equitable immunization coverage worldwide. Participants will also share examples of successful vaccination campaigns. Participants will receive a wealth of information on how vaccines prevent disease and how this continues to motivate researchers to innovate in immunology.

There will be further discussions on the development and implementation of next-generation vaccines targeting emerging and neglected pathogens. Researchers will provide data on vaccine efficacy and safety, as well as long-term immune responses. The use of adjuvants to improve vaccine performance will also be addressed. Participants will engage in discussions about strategies to address vaccine hesitancy and misinformation. Additionally, IDWC 2026 promotes the use of evidence-based communication to help build and maintain public trust. Participants will learn about advances in cold chain logistics and storage technologies that will help to provide vaccines to underserved areas of the world. The session focuses primarily on supporting global immunization efforts.

The topic of this session will include ethical, regulatory, and policy considerations related to vaccination programs. Experts will also discuss vaccine mandates, public acceptance of the vaccine, and international cooperation. The IDWC 2026 is designed as a platform for discussions between policymakers and scientists. Participants will explore potential partnerships among governments, NGOs, and pharmaceutical companies and reiterate the importance of equitable access to vaccines. Additionally, this session will review future directions in vaccine research and vaccine-delivery systems, providing an opportunity to continue to promote clinical research in immunization. This session is an integral part of global strategies for disease prevention.
