Researchers will present findings on outcomes of policies related to pandemic preparedness and response. Participants will have the opportunity to explore innovations in governance to improve global health strategies and policies that advance health equity and access. There will also be discussions on advancing the current state of the policy development process and on how such policies can improve health outcomes. The session will specifically promote partnerships and research.
Decision-making regarding ethical issues will also be discussed during this session at IDWC 2026. Participants will examine fairness in resource allocation; in addition, they will examine how social determinants influence health outcomes. Participants in this session will be encouraged to focus on developing policy equitably. IDWC 2026 is also committed to creating a forum for dialogue among all stakeholders. This will include discussions on international cooperation and the implementation of recommended actions, which will ultimately improve global governance systems.
