At the 2nd Edition of the Infectious Diseases World Conference, experts shed light on advancements in diagnosing and managing skin infections such as cellulitis, herpes zoster, and dermatophytosis. The conference highlighted innovative treatment approaches, including novel antifungal therapies, antiviral agents, and antimicrobial stewardship's importance in combatting resistance. Emphasis was placed on raising awareness about preventive measures and addressing dermatological infections in underserved regions to reduce their global burden.
